Can Majó Reviews

Very elegant and well presented restaurant in front of the Barceloneta. Paella was incredible, especially the black ink one which I would say was the best paella I’ve ever tasted. Service was great too. We dined there 2 times while on vacation because it was so good. A little on the pricier side but worth it. Definitely recommend this place!

Service is always top here . Food is also excellent but this time as we choose set menu the paella was good but not wow . Still it’s one of the favorites when visiting Barcelona and want a good local place to go on a family Sunday lunch . The tarte tatin is the perfect size to end the day . Soft and exactly how it should be.

Paella and sangria were really good, service was fast and friendly.

Nice restaurant with nice view and staffs. The food was delicious

Our hotel host recommended Can Majo, and it did not disappoint! The attentive staff, excellent service, and fresh food made for a wonderful dining experience. Me We especially loved the gamba croquettes and the ability to pick fresh seafood from the showcase. Meeting the owner was a highlight, and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation. Located close to the beautiful Barceloneta Beach, the restaurant offers a nice environment with active swimmers nearby. It's about a 1.25-mile walk from La Rambla or a short taxi ride. Excellent herbs chupito! Highly recommended.

Some friends invited us for lunch and we were extremely happy with our overall experience. We sat outside but inside the tent. We had a view of the sea and the weather was also beautiful. All the dishes we ordered were fresh and extremely delicious. The presentation was to the point and taste left a lasting effect, making us crave for more. For dessert, highly recommend the cheese cake. The service we received from Jairo was fantastic. He was friendly, pleasant, helpful and always wore a smile. He made our experience more memorable. We highly recommend this restaurant due to the overall satisfaction we experienced. Thank you Jairo for taking care of us so well!

What a wonderful experience. From the first greeting at the door from the very lovely gentlemen (owner?) through to the peaceful decor, then the friendly helpful service and the delicious paella. We had two types. The truffle one was superb, perfectly balanced. A perfect evening. If you’re reading this, please book a table.

This place was recommended to me by locals to try paella in Barcelonetta region. First of all, this place one of a few, where you can order paella for 1 person only. So this is a big plus. The seaview from the restaurant is great as well. The paella itself was good, but for me it was too salty. I also ordered cream for the dessert - it was delicious.
